Job Summary

The dishwasher role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen tools, workspaces, and equipment to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food residues from dirty dishes and wash them manually or utilize dishwashing machines according to procedure.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays thoroughly following assigned techniques to ensure sanitation.
• Polish silverware using equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or cloths depending on requirements.
• Adhere strictly to all specified safety procedures.
• Monitor and maintain correct temperatures and chemical levels as per standard guidelines.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized and compliant with safety regulations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Clean food preparation surfaces including worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Collect trash and place it into designated containers, including thorough cleaning of garbage cans.
• Assist in moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Support loading and unloading of goods as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience handling dishroom operations in high-volume settings.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and receiving procedures essential.

Work Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position based at 905 11th Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089, with working hours Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Further details will be provided during interview.

• Hourly pay ranging between $21.63 and $22.00.
