Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks and dishwashing duties in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local standards and policies, ensuring safety for residents.
• Follow all facility and departmental rules including Human Resources policies, ethical conduct, health and safety regulations, patient rights, confidentiality, HIPAA, and accreditation standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings as necessary.
• Take responsibility for personal and professional development, including maintaining any required certifications or licenses if applicable.
• Complete mandatory annual training and competency evaluations.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and routinely perform dishwashing, waste removal, sweeping, mopping, and upkeep of dining areas.
• Assist in food service functions such as tray arrangement, loading food carts, setting up dining rooms, and serving residents.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and around dining areas, ensuring they remain free of litter and debris.
• Report supply and equipment needs promptly using established procedures.
• Help with receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols diligently.
• Be familiar with fire and disaster plans and respond appropriately during drills and emergencies.
• Execute other duties or special tasks as assigned by management.
