Full Time Dishwasher

Job Overview

The Dishwasher is responsible for performing designated cleaning tasks within the culinary department, strictly following relevant federal, state, and local regulations along with company policies, ensuring a safe environment for residents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Comply with all facility and departmental policies, including those related to Human Resources, ethics, health and safety, compliance, patient rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings as necessary.
• Take personal accountability for professional development and maintain required certifications or licenses.
• Complete all mandatory training and demonstrate competencies yearly.
• Adhere to specific worksite policies and procedures.
• Execute scheduled cleaning duties following established cleaning timelines.
• Assist with arranging meal trays, loading food carts, and meal service setup.
• Prepare dining areas and assist in serving residents.
• Wash, clean, and store dishes efficiently.
• Sweep and mop floors, as well as manage trash disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness both inside and outside dining spaces.
• Report supply and equipment needs following proper protocols.
• Support receiving and storing of food and supplies.
• Perform all duties following safety and infection control guidelines.
• Understand and comply with fire and disaster procedures including drills and emergencies.
• Stay informed of all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations and policies.
• Carry out additional departmental tasks or special assignments as directed by management.
