Full-Time Dishwasher

About the Role

Bon Appétit Management Company is currently seeking a full-time Dishwasher to join their team at Genentech located at 1 Antibody Way, Oceanside, CA 92056. This position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 and requires availability mainly during daytime hours, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with exact days to be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove food debris and thoroughly clean dishes by hand or by using the dishwasher conveyor system to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays meticulously following established procedures to maintain hygiene.
• Polish silverware using various specialized equipment and methods like burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths to maintain shine and cleanliness.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain proper chemical and temperature levels as specified by company standards.
• Organize and maintain the dishwashing area in full compliance with safety and sanitary guidelines.
• Clean kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping to meet sanitation standards.
• Wash kitchen surfaces such as worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to uphold food safety policies.
• Dispose of garbage properly by transferring trash to designated containers and cleaning bins through steam cleaning or hose rinsing.
• Assist with moving supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and help with loading and unloading deliveries.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in dishwashing is preferred but not necessarily mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Food Handler's card is desirable.
