Dishwasher (Full Time)

About the Role

Bon Appétit Management Company is actively seeking full-time Dishwashers to join the team at Biola University, located at 13800 Biola Avenue, La Mirada, CA. This position demands open availability, with varying days and hours communicated during the interview process. Candidates must have prior experience in dishwashing.

Key Duties

• Clean dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, and utensils by hand or using dishwashing machines to ensure thorough sanitation.
• Polish silverware using appropriate equipment or hand techniques according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety standards, including proper handling of chemicals and maintaining their levels as specified.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas orderly and hygienic by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning work tables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Manage waste removal by emptying trash into designated containers and steam cleaning garbage cans.
• Assist with transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work zones, including loading and unloading.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous dishwashing experience is mandatory.
• Ability to comply with safety protocols, including the use of chemicals and equipment.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this full-time role is $17.50.
