About the Role

Primary Duties
- Efficiently sort and clean soiled cooking utensils and service ware to provide kitchen and food service staff with necessary equipment promptly.
- Maintain the dishwashing machinery in proper working order, ensuring it is filled with water and cleaned according to set standards.
- Thoroughly clean kettles, pans, pots, and tilt skillets to support kitchen operations.
- Carry out routine cleaning of physical work areas using approved hotel cleaning products to meet health and safety standards.
- Ensure floors are cleaned and dried to prevent slip-and-fall incidents.
- Separate linens from other waste accurately.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, safety rules, emergency procedures, and use required protective equipment.
- Alert management to any unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or damages promptly.
- Maintain neat personal appearance according to outlined standards.
- Support other kitchen team members as needed and perform related tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Familiarity with handling and maintaining service ware to enhance guest experience.
- Competence in operating commercial dish machines following health and hotel guidelines.
- Capability to understand and follow written instructions for product use safely.
- Manual dexterity for handling kitchen tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to lift and move carts and goods weighing up to 100 pounds, including twisting, bending, standing, and walking continuously.
