Role Overview

As a Dishwasher in this fast-paced culinary team, your work is essential in maintaining kitchen operations, ensuring dishes, glassware, and cookware are clean and organized for seamless food service. This entry role requires dedication, efficiency, teamwork, and a positive attitude. No prior kitchen experience is necessary as training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and return dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and equipment promptly and orderly.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely following procedures.
• Keep dish station clean, organized, and functional at all times.
• Monitor dish machine temperatures, chemical levels, and wash cycles, reporting issues immediately.
• Sort and stack clean items efficiently to support kitchen operations.
• Remove waste, break down boxes, and maintain a hazard-free kitchen environment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and equipment as directed.
• Assist with deliveries, storage, and overall kitchen organization as needed.
• Support culinary and steward teams to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and chemical handling guidelines in line with health codes and property policies.
• Communicate professionally and cooperatively with team members throughout shifts.
• Report equipment, safety, or supply concerns promptly to supervisors.

• Age minimum: 18 years.
• Food handler certification is advantageous or willingness to obtain it upon hiring.

Physical Demands

The role requires constant standing and moving, lifting heavy items, bending, reaching, and working in a warm, wet kitchen environment throughout each shift.

Compensation
