Full-Time Dishwasher

Overview

Compass Healthcare's Morrison Healthcare division is looking to immediately hire a full-time Dishwasher at the Tenet Hospitals of Providence Memory Care facility located at 2001 N Oregon St, El Paso, TX 79902. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, kitchen tools, and work areas to support patient and caregiver food service operations.

Work Schedule and Location

The role is offered full-time with an evening (PM) shift. Specific scheduling details will be discussed during interviews. Applications are only accepted through online submission.

Qualifications and Training

Applicants must possess a valid Food Handler's Certification. While prior dishwashing experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory as training will be provided. Opportunities for cross-training in other roles or supervisory positions are available over time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Remove food residue from dishes, pots, pans, and trays and clean them either manually or using dishwashing equipment, ensuring thorough sanitation.
• Polish silverware using specialized equipment or manual methods as directed.
• Maintain safety protocols and ensure proper chemical and temperature controls for sanitation processes.
• Keep dishwashing workspaces orderly and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Clean kitchen floors, walls, worktables, refrigerators, and food prep areas regularly to uphold sanitation.
• Manage waste by emptying trash bins, performing steam cleaning of containers, and handling supply transfers between storage and work zones.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies as needed.
• Perform any additional duties assigned.
