Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Dish Steward to join our team at Saint John's Resort in Plymouth, MI. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, sanitization, and organization of dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas with an emphasis on teamwork and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots.
• Maintain the dish room and operate the dishwashing machine properly.
• Restock supplies including dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Remove garbage and ensure waste disposal is handled efficiently.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize the dishwashing machine at the end of each shift.
• Keep dish storage and other assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist with cleaning other restaurant areas as requested.
• Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a similar dish steward or kitchen cleaning role is required.

Skills and Abilities

• Willingness to work flexible hours and multiple shifts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong teamwork and cooperative attitude.
