About the Role

The Cantillon Group, a highly regarded convenience retailer based in Cork, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Deli Assistant to join our team at the MAXOL Clonakilty location. This is a full-time position offering the chance to work in a dynamic food department environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of tasty food items in the fresh food section.
• Assist the management team with daily departmental operations.
• Strictly follow HACCP and food safety guidelines to maintain top-quality hygiene and safety standards.
• Create and fulfill hot and cold customer orders efficiently.
• Keep food displays attractive and compliant with company quality standards.
• Ensure the food service area is clean, safe, and fully functional from opening through closing.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing questions or concerns proactively.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by proactive store managers.
