Full-Time Cashier - Day Shift

About the Role

Join a locally owned and operated Shoppers Drug Mart store in Orleans, Ontario, as a cashier, providing essential health, beauty, and convenience services to your community. This role focuses on putting the customer experience at the forefront.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and engage warmly with all patrons.
• Maintain an orderly and clean checkout station.
• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor.
• Scan or manually enter product information accurately during sales transactions.
• Handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum points carefully and correctly.
• Request customers’ PC Optimum Cards for each purchase.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed regarding customer receipts and returns.
• Maintain merchandising standards such as facing, labeling, and signing in designated areas.
• Follow protocols to prevent loss, including control of cash, lottery, and stamp inventories.
• Adhere to the company’s uniform policy and dress code to represent the brand professionally.
• Follow all health and safety regulations diligently.
• Comply with store policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and store appearance to company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation
