Job description
Overview
Become part of a community-focused, locally owned store where health, beauty, and convenience services are delivered with the customer as the priority. This role plays a vital part in supporting the Front Store Manager to oversee human, physical, and financial resources while aiming to meet store goals by enhancing product movement from storage to the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain store standards to enhance the shopping experience, increase customer visits, and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure store and backroom standards are consistently upheld.
- Assist in labor scheduling using Work Force Management tools to optimize productivity.
- Ensure adequate staffing to meet operational needs effectively.
- Support in hiring processes for all departments except Pharmacy, in partnership with the Front Store Manager.
- Maintain wage administration aligned with company guidelines.
- Promote employee engagement by leading with the company's core values and fostering the organizational culture.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proficient planning, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
- Inventory management preparation and planning skills.
- Control expenses effectively through sound judgment and decisions.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support employee development.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize quickly amid changing priorities.
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
- Prior retail management experience demonstrating the ability to drive business results and lead by example.
- Ability to collaborate well with the management team.
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
- Business insight combined with financial understanding.
- Ability to build relationships with key internal and external partners.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is hourly between $18.85 and $21.85. Compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, and geographic location. The hiring process includes the use of artificial intelligence for screening and selection.
