Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a well-organized checkout area.
• Welcome every customer with a friendly approach and positive engagement.
• Precisely scan or input product information during transactions.
• Handle cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions accurately, ensuring to request customers' PC Optimum cards each time.
• Maintain proper documentation concerning customer receipts and product returns.
• Keep merchandising areas tidy and properly signed, including facing and labeling.
• Adhere to loss prevention policies, including controlling cash, lottery, and stamp inventories.
• Present a professional image consistent with uniform and dress guidelines.
• Follow all health and safety standards and store procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and store appearance to established standards.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Good planning, judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to balance teamwork with efficient customer order processing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with computers and cash registers, including record keeping.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.60 to $18.05, with pay influenced by the candidate's experience and the job location.
