Job Summary

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and espresso beverages along with related food items while complying with HACCP food safety standards. This role requires positive interactions with customers and colleagues, ensuring excellent service quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks for customers and catering orders using standardized recipes and measurements.
• Accurately process orders through the POS system; handle both cash and card payments.
• Maintain supply levels by replenishing condiments, beverages, and general items; keep the service area clean and organized.
• Ensure proper food presentation, portion sizes, and serving temperatures are maintained per HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, utensils, and workstation throughout shifts and before leaving.
• Use approved recipes and adherence to production standards for food preparation.
• Keep display areas tidy and free from debris during meal services.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and relaying feedback to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently to avoid delays during service.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of daily menu items and clearly communicate them to customers.
• Use effective selling techniques to assist customers in their purchase decisions.
• Ensure food displays are attractive and food is served neatly following company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous barista experience is preferred.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position located at RTX Denver, 16800 East Centretech Parkway, Aurora, CO 80011. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with hours that may vary; further details are provided during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate ranges between $20.00 and $22.00 per hour.
