Role Overview
Become a valued member of COBS Bread's team, a Great Place To Work Certified™ environment. Join us as a Sales Assistant, where your enthusiasm for fresh, fluffy, and sweet baked goods will enhance customers' bakery visits. No prior experience is required, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage as part of a small, supportive team focused on delivering excellent customer service and building relationships with returning customers.
- Manage product merchandising and assist in implementing marketing initiatives within the bakery.
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain cleanliness and support baking production activities (training provided).
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates pride in offering friendly and personable customer interactions.
- Exhibits positivity and approachable demeanor.
- Dependable, self-driven, and receptive to developing new skills.
- Enjoys teamwork and interpersonal collaboration.
- Retail experience and familiarity with cash, credit, and debit handling are advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts.
- Frequent use of both hands.
- Regular lifting and carrying of items up to 7.5 kg; bending, reaching, and turning as needed.
- Occasional lifting up to 22 kg and performing physical movements such as pushing, pulling, crouching, and reaching above shoulder height.
