The Role

BJAK seeks talented full stack engineers to accelerate the development of its AI Finance Agent. This position suits product-focused engineers agile in moving between frontend, backend, internal tools, and customer journey enhancements to quickly transform ideas into functional offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end development of features for both customer-facing and internal applications.
• Creating web flows, backend APIs, admin interfaces, dashboards, and operational tools.
• Supporting diverse product verticals including insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, and broader financial services.
• Collaborating with product, design, mobile, and operations teams to launch efficiently.
• Integrating various APIs, managing data pipelines, and enhancing system reliability in production.
• Leveraging analytics, user feedback, and resolving production issues to continuously improve functionality.
• Developing tools that automate manual processes and accelerate business operations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on full stack software engineering experience. Proficiency in both frontend and backend development foundations is essential, along with familiarity with contemporary web frameworks, API design, databases, and production-grade system management. The role demands the ability to rapidly deliver practical products without exhaustive specifications, an eye for user experience, attention to detail, and strong debugging skills across full tech stacks. Experience in fintech, insurtech, marketplaces, consumer applications, or platforms handling large volumes is highly advantageous.

Additional Information

This position is fully remote but requires candidates to be currently residing in Australia, as the hiring is targeted to this market. English proficiency is mandatory due to international team collaboration.
