Swadesh Mobile Private Limited develops a comprehensive product suite that includes a robust admin console, an agent workspace, dialers, campaign management tools, extensive reporting systems, and dynamic live dashboards. The codebase is substantial, consisting of over a thousand source files that expand weekly.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end feature development—designing the user interface screens, implementing the corresponding APIs, and structuring the underlying data models. Collaboration and ownership of the entire development lifecycle are critical, without passing incomplete tasks to others.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop user interfaces using React and TypeScript for both the admin console and agent workspace.
• Create backend APIs employing Node.js and TypeScript to support front-end features.
• Work on dialer and campaign-related functionalities, call queue management, reporting tools, and live dashboards.
• Implement live data streaming over websockets to provide real-time agent statuses, queue monitoring, and wallboard displays.
• Design and optimize MySQL and MongoDB database schemas and queries within a multi-tenant architecture.
• Contribute to the developer platform offering SMS and voice APIs, including management of webhooks, API keys, and enforcing rate limits.
• Develop privacy features such as call recording consent prompts, call pause/resume capabilities, data retention policies, deletion procedures, and data export functionalities.

Expectations

• Ensure all queries are properly scoped to individual companies to maintain strict data isolation in the multi-tenant environment; preventing any data leaks between customers is paramount.
• Deliver complete features encompassing UI, API, data model, database migrations, and seamless rollouts to current clients.
• Build truthful interfaces: if functionality is pending, the UI should clearly indicate this status.
• Test features thoroughly under realistic data volumes, ensuring performance remains acceptable at scale.
• Maintain consistency with the established codebase style and practices to foster uniformity.
• Address root causes of issues rather than temporary fixes.
• Within the first two weeks, deliver a feature visible to customers.
• Within 90 days, take ownership of a product area end to end, reducing the need for detailed code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years of practical experience in building production-grade web applications; candidates with 6 or more years are especially welcomed.
• Proficiency with React and TypeScript, demonstrated by delivering applications used by end users.
• Experience developing backend services in Node.js with TypeScript, including creating and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Strong skills in database design and query optimization for MySQL and MongoDB, especially in high-scale environments.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and discipline working within a large, existing codebase.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS for styling.
• Experience working with websockets for real-time features.
• Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS systems.
• Comfort with charting and reporting interfaces.
• Background in telecom or contact center industry is a plus.
