Job description

Role Overview

The Front Office Assistant Manager ensures smooth guest check-ins by verifying identities, processing payments, assigning rooms, and issuing keys efficiently. The position involves setting up guest accounts, confirming rates, and handling billing adjustments. Daily tasks include report compilation, cashier reconciliation, securing funds, and maintaining accurate transaction records.

As a leadership figure, this role supports staff development through training, evaluation, and motivation while upholding fair workplace treatment policies. Building strong team relationships and fostering a positive work culture are key. Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and protecting proprietary information are also essential.

Guest engagement is a priority, including welcoming guests warmly, anticipating needs, assisting those with disabilities, and maintaining professional communication standards. Operational duties include working with computer systems, standing or walking extended periods, and occasionally moving light objects.
