About the Role
Join Woolworths Group as a Fresh Service Manager and take the lead in managing your department with a focus on creating a welcoming shopping experience for customers while fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment. Supported by the Store Leadership Pathway, you will develop your leadership abilities and departmental skills, contributing significantly to the store’s success and your own career growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of department operations, leading a cohesive team committed to excellent customer service and community engagement.
- Coordinate day-to-day departmental functions collaboratively with store leadership and team members to ensure high standards of product quality, hygiene, and availability throughout the day.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace where employees can be authentic and thrive.
- Uphold safety protocols strictly to maintain a safe environment for team members and customers.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer care using the Everyday ACTs framework: Acknowledge, Care & Thank.
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude and a desire to grow in a management role by supporting daily departmental operations.
- Collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork to achieve shared goals and enhance personal knowledge.
- Self-awareness of leadership style and motivation to develop leadership capabilities for future opportunities.
- Understanding of the significance of cross-store collaboration to provide cohesive and satisfying shopping experiences.
- Curiosity and eagerness to advance skills and career progression within the retail sector.
Work Schedule
You will generally work from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
