FP&A Manager

About the Role

We are partnering with a forward-thinking company poised for future growth to identify an experienced FP&A Manager. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role is pivotal in shaping the company's financial strategy, enhancing business performance, and leading the development of an exemplary FP&A function.

This position involves close collaboration with senior leaders and the executive team, delivering critical financial insights essential for strategic decisions and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation and execution of the company’s long-term financial strategy and business planning.
• Track, assess, and report on critical financial and operational KPIs aligned with the organization’s goals.
• Conduct thorough analyses of business performance, industry trends, competitor activities, as well as potential risks and opportunities.
• Provide timely financial and commercial data-based insights to guide senior management decisions.
• Lead the comprehensive yearly budgeting process and ongoing rolling forecasts throughout the organization.
• Develop, maintain, and refine financial models ensuring precision, controls, and detailed documentation.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality management reports monthly and quarterly, Board materials, and executive-level presentations.
• Evaluate actual results against budgets, forecasts, and strategic objectives, identifying key trends and recommended measures.
• Support cash flow projections, capital expenditure planning, scenario analysis, and financial stress testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and dashboards.
• Drive enhancements in financial reporting, forecasting methods, systems, processes, and data governance frameworks.
• Assist the CFO in Board communications, strategic initiatives, presentations, and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Establish and promote best practice FP&A processes, standards, and reporting capabilities throughout the finance team.

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified Accountant with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in FP&A and commercial finance functions.
• Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with a track record of developing and managing complex financial models.
• Experience leveraging Power BI or comparable business intelligence and reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide clear, actionable commercial recommendations.
• Effective stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing and engaging senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience addressing executive-level audiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
