Forex Officer

Role Overview

The Forex Officer is responsible for achieving the revenue targets assigned to their designated Forex branch. This includes managing currency transactions such as purchase and sales, travel card sales, and outward remittances under authorized dealer categories AD-I and AD-II.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet assigned branch revenue goals linked to Forex business segments including currency purchase and sales, travel card sales, and outward remittance.
• Support and supervise a group of non-license branches to help them generate reasonable Forex remittance revenues.
• Manage Forex Business portfolios including travel cards, remittances, and banknotes within the branch and Eco partner retail channel, covering bulk and small corporate sales within the cluster.
• Lead the onboarding process of Eco partners in direct sales verticals such as educational consultants, tour operators, hotels, travel and money transfer agents, FFMC/AD-II, and banking relationships to promote Forex products within mapped branch limits.
• Provide guidance and training to non-license branches to improve Forex outward remittance performance and ensure achievement of targets.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Executive team to encourage them to deliver significant business by explaining incentive schemes.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain product integrity for all Forex operations.
• Enhance product visibility and provide training on Forex products and services to branch colleagues including both internal staff and external sales teams.
