Role Overview
As a Foreign Exchange Sales & Calls Consultant at Travel Money Oz, you'll be responsible for transforming incoming customer inquiries into scheduled in-store visits and sales transactions. You'll do this by accurately understanding client foreign exchange needs, offering competitive currency solutions, and crafting a positive customer journey — all while safeguarding company margins and driving profitable results.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls from customers, swiftly assessing their foreign exchange requirements.
- Qualify enquiries by gathering details on currencies, transaction sizes, travel itineraries, and urgency.
- Consult real-time exchange rates and stock availability to deliver precise quotes aligned with company guidelines.
- Establish rapport and leverage your sales expertise to convert inquiries into confirmed store visits.
- Uncover opportunities to upsell additional relevant products and value-added offerings.
- Apply sound judgment to identify optimal store outcomes when stock levels or customer needs fluctuate.
- Collaborate closely with store personnel, ensuring clear communication of leads and supporting smooth transitions.
- Monitor and achieve call-related key performance indicators, including duration, conversion rates, and lead quality.
- Address queries from stores promptly and keep teams informed of Deal Desk status and lead activities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Between 1 to 2 years of experience in customer-facing telephone sales or service roles.
- Demonstrated success in turning inquiries into actual sales or confirmed appointments.
- Experience negotiating pricing, rates, or similar commercial dealings is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to meet KPIs involving call quotas, conversion metrics, and lead management.
- A commercially minded attitude combined with meticulous attention to detail.
- Preferred background includes foreign exchange, financial services, travel, retail, or centralized sales environments.
