Overview
This Food Service Supervisor role requires proficiency in English and a minimum of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Candidates should have one to two years of relevant experience. The position is fully on-site, requiring physical presence at the location in Hinton, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to efficiently meet work schedules.
- Oversee and coordinate activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on their roles, including sanitation and safety protocols.
- Calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Maintain quality control standards for both food and service.
- Keep accurate records relating to stock, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Set up employee work schedules.
