Food & Consumables Team Associate

About the Role

The Food and Consumables Team Associate is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by upholding Walmart's core values. This role focuses on maintaining and organizing the food and consumables section, assisting with stocking, and supporting sales activities.

Key Duties

• Maintain the organization of shelves, tables, and bunkers within the department to ensure all products are in their designated places.
• Manage stock rotation diligently and monitor product expiration dates.
• Verify that all merchandise is accurately labeled and priced according to store standards.
• Comply with cold chain policies, including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, proper food handling, and adhering to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Execute correct processes for ordering products, clearance procedures, markups, markdowns, signage, labeling, and flagging items.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be aged 16 years or older.

Additional Information
