Food and Beverage Supervisor

Role Overview

The Talbot Hotel Midleton seeks an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor for a full-time salaried position. Candidates must be prepared to work 39 hours per week, spread over five days, including evenings and weekends, in a vibrant 4-star hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Deputy General Manager and supervisory team to ensure efficient food and beverage service operations.
• Address customer concerns and queries promptly and professionally.
• Regularly monitor and maintain appropriate beverage and wine stock levels.
• Guarantee accurate order taking and timely service delivery.
• Ensure staff are knowledgeable about menus, drinks, and service protocols; identify training needs and conduct necessary sessions.
• Maintain exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards across bar, restaurant, banqueting, and related areas.
• Oversee proper setup of food and beverage outlets before service, establishing the desired ambiance.
• Assist with accurate staff scheduling based on business demands and monitor daily operational levels.
• Supervise and ensure staff compliance with company procedures and task completion during shifts.
• Maintain high-quality service standards with keen attention to detail.
• Verify the main safe contents at shift start and end; ensure the accuracy of cash floats distributed to departments.
• Promote staff productivity and foster a positive, motivating work environment.
• Handle customer complaints effectively while keeping management informed.
