Job Overview

Join a prestigious 5-star hospitality establishment in Goa as a Food and Beverage Associate, delivering top-tier, personalized dining experiences. This position involves providing attentive and expert service across various outlets including restaurants, bars, banquets, and guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold brand excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests and seat them, presenting menus in alignment with luxury brand standards.
  • Take precise food and drink orders, noting special requests, dietary needs, and allergies.
  • Serve food and beverages employing proper techniques such as tray service, silver service, and elegant plating according to standard operating procedures.
  • Proactively anticipate guest requirements, suggest premium items, upsell where appropriate, and ensure courses progress smoothly and timely.
  • Manage guest complaints with professionalism, executing recovery procedures and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Prepare and dismantle service stations daily, following briefings and event schedules.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings including ingredients, preparation styles, and suitable beverage pairings.
  • Confidently use POS systems for order entry, billing, processing split payments, room charges, and handle cash transactions securely.
  • Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols per HACCP and local standards.
  • Ensure proper upkeep and handling of service tools, glassware, utensils, and linens.
  • Work closely with kitchen, bar, stewarding, and front desk teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support training initiatives for new team members focused on service excellence, product knowledge, and SOP compliance.
  • Complete all opening and closing duties, side work, and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Actively participate in daily meetings, training sessions, and hotel enhancement programs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certifications or diplomas are advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 12 to 24 months in food and beverage service within 4- or 5-star hotels or fine dining environments.
  • Prior exposure to working across different food and beverage outlets such as restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service is preferred.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging between 10,000 and 20,000 Indian Rupees.
