Flying Clothing Bay Supervisor

Role Overview

The Flying Clothing Bay Supervisor will utilize their extensive technical expertise and experience to conduct a broad range of detailed maintenance operations within the Aircrafts Flying Clothing Bay. This position involves implementing diagnostic techniques, ensuring airworthiness through proper delegation and authorization, and contributing to continuous improvement by identifying external dependencies and enhancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive maintenance and inspections on Aircraft Flying Clothing components, ensuring all tasks comply with the Statement of Work (SOW) and approved technical guidelines.
• Address faults and maintenance challenges effectively, maintaining a strong understanding of configuration management.
• Conduct maintenance and diagnostic operations on Pilots' Flying Clothing components, which include component removal, inspection, repair, modification, fault rectification, replacement, and system testing as needed.
• Adopt a proactive and adaptable approach to responsibilities, following directions appropriately.
• Maintain personal and team authorizations for aircraft and component work in line with Aircraft Maintenance Certificate (AMC) requirements.
• Provide progress updates to supervisors relative to delivery goals.
• Support compliance within the Flying Clothing Bay facility by performing tasks such as oversight checks and control of tools and test equipment.
• Evaluate faults, generate ad hoc work cards for identified issues during maintenance.
• Keep a personal Log Book to demonstrate current skills and authorizations, and sign off others' Log Books as authorized within trade and skill limits.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess broad and in-depth knowledge in the relevant technical area, understanding team integration for achieving overall objectives.
• Apply continuous improvement principles and demonstrate awareness of their importance.
• Comply fully with risk assessments, Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and procedures.
• Hold a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, being fully competent and authorized accordingly.
• Maintain a Log Book (electronic or paper) documenting skills, knowledge, and currency related to Aircraft or workshop work.
• Have comprehensive understanding of acceptable compliance documentation.
• Completed Human Factors, E&PW, and ITAR Awareness standard course specifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IT literacy.
