Colada is a prominent company operating within the Food & Beverage sector located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeking to expand its mobile development team.

Job Overview

We are in search of a mid-to-senior level Flutter developer to take full ownership of feature development, encompassing UI design, state management, and backend API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain essential product features including ordering systems, checkout processes, and customer loyalty and reward programs.
• Integrate the app with REST APIs using Dio and manage real-time data via Socket.IO.
• Collaborate with payment providers to facilitate checkout experiences across different markets.
• Implement location-centric functionalities such as maps and geolocation services.
• Maintain and enhance push notification mechanisms using Firebase Messaging, and handle lifecycle and marketing notifications.
• Support the integration of analytics tools and experimentation frameworks.
• Deliver a bilingual user interface supporting English and Arabic languages, with right-to-left layout awareness.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a scalable and clean code architecture.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• A minimum of 3 years professional experience with Flutter and Dart, with published apps available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Comprehensive knowledge of state management strategies, specifically Riverpod including its code generation aspects via riverpod_generator.
• Experience implementing declarative and generated routing, preferably with auto_route or similar tools.
• Strong proficiency in asynchronous Dart programming, RESTful API integration with Dio, and JSON serialization including code generation.
• Familiarity with Firebase services, particularly Firebase Messaging for push notifications.
• Comfort working with Git version control, participating in code reviews, and asynchronous communication within remote teams.
• Understanding of mobile application release workflows on App Store Connect and Google Play Console; experience with Fastlane is advantageous.
• Excellent written communication skills suitable for a fully remote and asynchronously operating team.
