Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Android Engineer with over five years of professional experience, specializing in AI integration. This role is based in Bengaluru GTP and requires strong capabilities in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the development of modular large-scale Android applications.
Key Job Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop using Kotlin with Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming.
- Build user interfaces leveraging Jetpack Compose.
- Design and maintain multi-module Android architectures.
- Implement dependency injection patterns with Hilt and Dagger.
- Utilize Firebase Crashlytics and performance monitoring tools to optimize app stability.
- Work with Room and DataStore for data persistence, WorkManager for background processing, and OkHttp for network operations.
- Perform Gradle build system optimization to enhance build efficiency.
AI Integration Specifics
- Integrate large language model (LLM) APIs such as OpenAI or Claude.
- Manage Model Context Protocol (MCP), agentic workflows, context management, and AI error handling.
- Develop AI-enabled features for mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active GitHub repositories showcasing Android projects.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Prior experience deploying AI-enhanced Android apps.
