Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned KDB Developer with extensive expertise in Q/KDB+ programming, system analysis, and application development lifecycle management. This role involves designing and implementing software solutions that align with architectural standards while addressing complex business and system challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert-level application programming ensuring alignment with the overall architectural framework.
- Utilize deep system operations knowledge to set standards for coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Analyze and resolve significant issues by evaluating complex business processes and industry standards.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses to identify system issues and innovate solutions.
- Collaborate with management teams to integrate functional areas and enhance systems for new products and process improvements.
- Understand interdependencies within business segments such as architecture and infrastructure to meet organizational objectives.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in application development or systems analysis.
- Proven success in managing and executing projects delivering impactful results.
- Strong foundation in system analysis and software application development.
- Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in at least one application development domain.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Q/KDB+ programming language.
- Solid understanding of development lifecycles.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Competency in shell scripting for automation and process management.
