Job Overview

Join QatarEnergy as a Fireman responsible for responding promptly and effectively to fires, rescues, and emergency incidents to minimize damage and ensure safety. Work collaboratively within a team setting and actively participate in drills and training exercises to enhance both individual and team preparedness in a secure environment serving the community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform emergency response duties to fires, rescues, and other urgent situations to prevent escalation.
• Engage in community drills and exercises to develop firefighting competencies and teamwork skills.

Experience and Skills Required

• Completion of Basic Fire Fighter levels 1 and 2 (NFPA 1001) and Breathing Apparatus Wearer Course.
• Qualification as a First Aider to first responder level, including CPR with AED certification.
• At least five years’ experience as a firefighter in commercial, industrial, civil defence, or military fire services, or successful completion of the QP Fire Protection Programme for Qatari Nationals.
• Valid driving license, preferably for heavy vehicles.
• Proficiency in handling a wide array of modern firefighting and rescue equipment.
• Ability to quickly assimilate information on arrival at potentially hazardous and confusing incidents and effectively follow instructions.
• Empathy towards victims of fire and accidents, with capacity to manage distressing environments.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (level QP L3), both spoken and written.

Educational Background

Must have completed secondary school education.
