Role Summary

The Fire Risk Assessor will evaluate fire risks within diverse commercial, industrial, and public-sector settings, applying current legislative frameworks and best practices to identify hazards and deliver actionable advice ensuring client fire safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fire risk assessments aligned with contemporary laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Detect potential fire safety threats, delivering clear recommendations and promptly escalating critical risks.
  • Generate, scrutinize, and verify comprehensive fire risk assessment documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possess Level 3 certification in Fire Risk Assessment.
  • Registration with a recognized professional body such as IFE, IFSM, or FRACS is mandatory.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license suitable for required travel.
  • Demonstrate at least five years of practical experience in fire risk assessment roles.
  • Possession of NEBOSH Fire Safety Certification is preferred but not required.
