Position Overview

We are expanding our Scientific In-sourcing team and seek an experienced QC Analyst. This role involves testing pharmaceutical substances such as raw materials and drug substances within GMP-regulated environments, primarily using GC and HPLC techniques alongside other analytical methods as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Undergo initial and ongoing training from SGS and clients to master necessary analytical methods.
• Provide training to other analysts when qualified.
• Conduct laboratory testing following approved procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in optimal condition, ensuring timely calibration.
• Manage the inventory and status of analytical materials.
• Verify and review test results from peers when qualified.
• Accurately enter data into LIMS systems.
• Evaluate testing outcomes and finalize batch analyses.
• Meet all testing deadlines, update visibility tools, and communicate progress in meetings.
• Keep laboratories clean and organized.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate lab records, emphasizing quality and timeliness.
• Prepare and update essential documentation including SOPs, methods, and reports.
• Collaborate closely with the team to exceed client and company performance metrics related to investigations, training, productivity, and punctual testing.
• Report and document any atypical or abnormal results, leading investigations and deviations as necessary.
• Ensure a safe working environment and maintain audit readiness.
• Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, environmental, and service aspects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related scientific field (minimum Level 7).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a GMP laboratory setting post-qualification.
• Strong understanding of data integrity principles and proficiency with analytical technologies including HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer titration, IR spectroscopy, Particle Size Distribution (PSD), X-ray, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Proficient with laboratory computer systems like LIMS and Trackwise.
• Team-oriented, adaptable to changing requirements, and dedicated to excellent customer service.
