Finishing Supervisor

About the Role

A leading real estate company is looking for a meticulous and well-organized Finishing Supervisor to join their team in Labone, Accra. This role demands overseeing all finishing work to guarantee top-tier quality, aesthetic appeal, and consistency aligned with approved designs and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of all finishing works ensuring they comply with approved specifications and maintain first-time quality acceptance.
• Identify, record, and monitor all defects, ensuring transparency and prompt resolution.
• Ensure finishes strictly conform to approved materials, color schemes, and design specifications through close collaboration with design teams.
• Supervise finishing contractors, uphold excellent workmanship standards, and rectify any subpar work immediately.
• Manage snagging activities to guarantee all issues are resolved prior to handover, delivering units fully prepared for clients.
• Keep precise defect logs and provide daily progress updates regarding finishing tasks and issue resolutions.
• Confirm completion of all units to a client-ready standard with no outstanding critical defects.
• Implement corrective measures immediately upon detection of defective or substandard work.
• Prevent unauthorized substitutions of materials or deviations from approved finishes.

Requirements and Experience

• More than five years of experience in construction finishing roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of finishing materials, installation procedures, and quality benchmarks.
• Strong eye for detail and proficient problem-solving skills.
• Experience supervising finishing subcontractors and managing snagging processes.
• Prior experience on real estate development projects.
