Job description
Job Overview
The role involves managing technical operations onsite, specifically executing overhead line distribution projects handling voltages of 11KV and 33KV. You will oversee pole erection activities, effectively interpret General Technical Plan (GTP) layouts, monitor material clearance processes, and consistently report project progress and updates to senior management.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise technical execution of site works for overhead electrical distribution lines.
- Manage and coordinate erection of poles and related infrastructure.
- Interpret and apply GTP layouts accurately to ensure compliance with plans.
- Track and ensure timely clearance and availability of required materials.
- Provide regular reporting to higher project authorities regarding progress and challenges.
Required Expertise
- Solid understanding of the distribution field operations including overhead and underground cable laying.
- Experienced in installation and handling of transformers, Ring Main Units (RMUs), Low Tension (LT) panels, and other electrical equipment involved in such projects.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 18,000 to INR 30,000.
