Financial Controller - Logistics Sector

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the financial accounting and reporting functions, oversee strategic planning including budgeting, forecasting, and target setting. You are responsible for establishing and maintaining continuous financial audit and control systems to monitor company performance, cash flow, budget compliance, expenses, revenues, cost of sales, and other financial metrics. Lead, develop, and inspire the Finance team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise financial accounting and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage planning cycles including strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts with clear targets.
• Implement continuous auditing and control mechanisms to track business performance and adherence to budgets.
• Analyze financial trends and variations to anticipate business needs and propose corrective actions promptly.
• Lead the recruitment, development, and motivation of the Finance team members in Singapore.

Qualifications and Profile

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Bring a minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance roles within the logistics industry.
• Demonstrable expertise in IFRS and internal control frameworks.
• Proven track record in effective business partnership and finance leadership.
• Result-driven, resourceful, and proactive with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
