Role Overview

Lenovo is looking for a motivated Saudi National to fill the role of Financial Controller for its expanding operations in Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role involves overseeing monthly financial closings, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business collaboration, and managing financial governance. There is potential for this role to grow into a wider regional responsibility across META.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the month-end closing activities complying with IFRS and Lenovo's global policies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of accounting records, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and adherence to statutory laws.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance evaluation, and financial modeling as part of FP&A processes.
  • Generate detailed performance reports and dashboards for management and leaders at regional and global levels.
  • Provide financial insights, support deal evaluations, and assist business units in commercial decision-making.
  • Enhance internal controls, maintain audit preparedness, and oversee governance protocols.
  • Coordinate VAT and other tax compliance activities with the Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).

Candidate Qualifications

  • Saudi National eligibility (mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are preferred.
  • Between 6 to 10 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A or related fields within multinational companies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, internal control frameworks, and Saudi Arabia's local financial regulations.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, modeling, and preparing management reports.
  • Experience or familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Hyperion, or equivalents.
  • Fluent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Demonstrates strong ownership, analytical capabilities, and thrives in dynamic work environments.
