Finance Manager / Controller

Overview

A growing organization based in Lagos is seeking an experienced Finance Manager or Controller to direct its financial operations and contribute to strategic financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise financial planning, reporting, and internal control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead the creation and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow processes.
• Maintain and develop professional relationships with external parties such as auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee and guide the finance and accounting team to meet organizational goals.
• Provide strategic financial advice to company leadership to aid in decision-making and risk management.
• Enhance and enforce robust internal financial controls and operational procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of six years’ experience in finance roles, including prior leadership responsibilities.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting standards is essential.
• Experience working in a fast-growing or scaling business environment is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Remuneration

The salary range for this position is ₦600,000 to ₦1,200,000 per month, depending on experience.
