Finance Business Partner

About the Role

Morgan McKinley is excited to collaborate with a growing property and construction company based in Dublin for a Finance Business Partner position. Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, this role is essential to enhancing the Financial Planning & Analysis function within the organization. Key duties include forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, cash flow assessments, and commercial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Develop and upkeep financial models involving Profit & Loss statements, cash flow, and balance sheets.
• Conduct variance, scenario, and sensitivity analyses.
• Compile monthly FP&A reports, dashboards, and management commentaries.
• Collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams to monitor performance, costs, and profit margins.
• Offer analytical insights and constructive feedback to enhance forecast precision and support business decisions.
• Support finance reporting, process enhancements, and miscellaneous finance projects as needed.

Requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with over three years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven expertise in financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
• Robust commercial understanding with the ability to convert financial data into actionable insights.
• Comfortable engaging with senior management and stakeholders outside finance.
• Experience within project-driven, construction, or property sectors is beneficial.
