Job Overview
Cater Care is on the lookout for motivated FIFO Cooks to join their remote village teams across Western Australia. The role involves fly-in fly-out from Perth or drive-in drive-out from Kalgoorlie, operating a 2/1 roster with shift lengths of 10 to 11.5 hours. Positioned at Randalls Village (Emu Flat - Kalgoorlie), full-time employment offers a salary range of $79,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation, including meals, uniforms, and accommodation. This position is ideal for individuals striving to balance work and personal life effectively while working in a team-oriented food preparation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present meals, including breakfast, crib, dinner, and functions, following dietary needs such as allergies or special requests.
- Assist with inventory management including stock ordering, rotation, and taking stock counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and utensils.
- Adhere strictly to legislated food hygiene and safety standards.
- Provide prompt and friendly service, collaborating and supporting the wider team as required.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a kitchen or cook role.
- Food Safety Certification and trade qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Commitment to Cater Care's Quality and Safety Management system.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills, motivated with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Resilience, creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive conditions.

Additional Information
