Job Overview
We have one permanent full-time position for a Mine Site Cleaner located remotely at the Burnie mine site, Savage River, Tasmania. The role includes working a roster of 7 days on and 7 days off (Tuesday to Monday) with shifts running from 3:30 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 11.5 hours per shift. Transportation to and from the site (Drive In Drive Out) is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in mine site offices, crib huts, and bathhouses.
- Maintain common areas by emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning tasks.
- Support other team members as required.
- Conduct housekeeping including room and ensuite cleaning and making beds if necessary.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 12 months experience working as a cleaner.
- Dedicated to delivering genuine and friendly customer service.
- Enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
- Maintain pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
- Hold a manual drivers license (mandatory for DIDO).
- Possession of a medium rigid vehicle license is preferred but not essential.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
