The Field Service Engineer MEAT & CIS plays a critical role in resolving complex customer challenges swiftly and supports team knowledge sharing. Reporting to the Sales Enablement Manager MEAT & CIS, this role is based in Saudi Arabia and involves remote support across the MEAT & CIS region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute advanced microscope installations, complex repairs, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate closely with MEAT & CIS channel partners by providing support in training, installation, repair cases, and mentoring junior team members.
- Contribute to business readiness and implementation plans by engaging in project planning, managing creation of SOPs and work instructions, and driving service revenue growth.
- Act as a change agent to integrate improvements and maintain effective processes and standard practices.
Required Expertise and Skills
- Proven technical skills in repairing, calibrating, maintaining, and upgrading microscopy systems and associated equipment, with advanced knowledge of at least two complex products within a product group.
- Effective networking and communication abilities to influence and collaborate across different functional areas and organizational levels.
- Experience in training or coaching colleagues.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%, with a valid motor vehicle record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in delivering standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement in core business processes.
- Experience working in matrix organizations, including building remote and cross-cultural relationships.
