Role Overview
The Assembly Operator plays a vital role in performing intricate production and assembly tasks, leveraging specialized technical skills to maintain manufacturing output and product quality. This position involves executing multi-assembly duties efficiently across various products while upholding stringent workmanship standards. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is based onsite in Singapore as part of the Medical Assembly team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct complex mechanical, electrical, and cable assemblies by adhering to established procedures, consistently reaching daily production and quality goals.
- Utilize multi-assembly skills across diverse product lines, maintaining precise production records and organized workspaces.
- Engage in productivity and quality enhancement initiatives by identifying and proposing process improvements.
Requirements
- Several years of practical experience in a production environment, executing assembly or build processes aligned with production schedules.
- Proven ability to perform at least three distinct assembly skillsets, including mechanical assembly, electrical installation, and cable routing.
- Proficient English communication skills necessary for interpreting instructions, documenting output, and collaborating effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a multi-product or high-mix manufacturing setting with shifting priorities.
- History of effective collaboration with technical teams to resolve production and assembly challenges.
