About the Role and Company
Timpson Group invites applications for a full-time Field Service Engineer position based in Stoke-on-Trent, UK. This role involves maintenance and servicing of a growing network of photobooths, photo printing kiosks, and key-cutting machines. You will cover a designated geographic area, performing routine servicing, preventive maintenance, restocking, and machine merchandising. Full training and a company vehicle will be provided to assist you with your duties.
Job Details
- Schedule: 45 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7
- Location: Ideally based within approximately 10 miles of Stoke-on-Trent, with travel throughout surrounding regions
- Salary: Beginning at £29,952 annually plus a performance-based bonus scheme often averaging £400 monthly after probation
Key Responsibilities
- Restock and replenish machine inventory regularly
- Conduct preventative maintenance and service visits within an assigned territory
- Perform site surveys for new installations
- Keep machines clean and operational to high standards
- Handle cash collection and deposit duties from machines
- Execute repairs as part of the ongoing maintenance program
- Manage and account for stock levels both in vehicles and at sites
- Provide backup support to other field engineers during absences
- Foster positive relationships with concession partners and colleagues
- Maintain a professional appearance with appropriate uniform and name badge
- Ensure each machine is left in improved condition after servicing
