We are committed to creating a better future by nurturing professional development and empowering talent.

Scope of Work

We are assembling a dedicated, long-term Field Service Team responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, shutdowns, and equipment replacement activities pertaining to heavy-duty gas turbines, aeroderivative gas turbines, and centrifugal or reciprocating compressors. Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute on-site installation, commissioning, routine servicing, and extensive inspections including combustion, hot gas path, and major outages on GE gas turbines and compressors.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical, fluidic, and operational problems by applying technical manuals, system drawings, and specialized diagnostic instruments to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight, directing craft laborers, subcontractors, and client personnel throughout outage procedures.
  • Conduct precision measurements, perform borescope inspections, and execute laser alignment tasks. Deliver detailed, prompt, and accurate field service documentation summarizing findings, actions carried out, and client recommendations.
  • Support outage planning by defining scope, selecting appropriate tools, identifying necessary spare parts, and anticipating labor requirements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company and client Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols. Lead daily safety briefings and complete Job Safety Analyses prior to work commencement.
  • Represent the company on-site by advising clients on best maintenance practices, operational guidelines, and performance enhancement strategies.

Required Competencies

  • Proven practical experience with GE Gas Turbines, particularly Frame 5, 6, 7, 9, or LM series, and/or GE/Nuovo Pignone centrifugal compressors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and auxiliary support systems related to turbines and compressors.
  • Familiarity with GE turbine control platforms such as Speedtronic Mark V, VI, VIe, and vibration monitoring tools like Bently Nevada.
  • Advanced skills using borescope inspection equipment coupled with proficiency in technical reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred. However, significant relevant field experience may substitute formal education requirements.
  • A minimum of five years' experience working as a Field Service Engineer, Technical Advisor, or Millwright specifically with heavy rotating machinery.
