Field Service Engineer

About the Role

Solar Connect currently operates over 2,000 solar installations throughout South India. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing operational and maintenance visits, diagnosing faults, and managing AMC servicing for customers within Thiruvananthapuram and its surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests involving inverter malfunctions, generation concerns, and module cleaning operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to string and hybrid solar inverters.
• Perform scheduled AMC and routine preventive maintenance inspections.
• Document service activities and outcomes in the ERPNext system, recording root causes and resolutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational qualification: ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
• Between 2 to 5 years of practical experience in solar field servicing.
• Proficient in working with various inverter brands such as Solis, Growatt, Sofar, SMA, Delta or equivalents.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license and personal two-wheeler (fuel costs will be reimbursed).
• Strong customer service skills with fluency in Malayalam.
