Job description

Job Overview

Step forward in your career as a full-time Retail Merchandiser, supporting in-store execution for a prominent consumer packaged goods (CPG) client focusing on alcoholic beverages. This role demands hands-on merchandising duties such as stocking shelves, creating product displays, ensuring product availability, and compliance with store planograms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute in-store merchandising tasks following planograms and schematic layouts, including reset projects.
  • Organize daily workflow by reviewing call goals, prioritizing tasks, and preparing necessary materials to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain promotional display standards, identify opportunities to enhance visibility, correct out-of-stock conditions, adjust shelving and displays, apply point-of-sale materials, check product expiration dates, and rotate stock as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with store personnel about assigned tasks, sales efforts, promotions, client goals, and completed work.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and foster positive working relationships with store employees to align with company and client objectives.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience in merchandising or sales is preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance coverage.
  • Ability to work autonomously and interact well with others.
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing 30 to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Working Hours and Location

Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, onsite in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.
