Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a Field Auditor to evaluate credit and operational aspects within our microfinance portfolio. This position requires frequent visits to various branches to examine documentation and ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Location
Hyderabad & Karim Nagar
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct branch visits according to the established audit plan.
- Assess loan records, customer files, and underwriting standards.
- Ensure conformity with Microfinance Institution (MFI) and microfinance product standards.
- Validate field operations, collection methods, and customer legitimacy.
- Report audit findings and track resolution progress.
- Prepare comprehensive and punctual audit reports.
- Travel through designated areas to cover 18 to 20 branches each quarter.
Key Skills Required
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in Microfinance, MFI, or comparable sectors.
- Solid grasp of credit evaluations, field audits, and documentation processes.
- Proficiency in the local language is essential.
- Background in finance is advantageous.
- Exposure to banking or financial technology sectors will be considered a plus.
- Willingness to undertake extensive regional travel is mandatory.
