Job description

Role Overview

Join our compensation team as an integral contributor responsible for developing, updating, and managing compensation programs that attract and motivate talent globally. Collaborate extensively with HR partners and managers to ensure our compensation frameworks are competitive, comply with local laws, and support the organization's strategic goals. This position offers an opportunity to significantly influence our international growth and workforce management.

Primary Duties

  • Design and implement fair and competitive salary structures, short-term incentives, and allowances.
  • Conduct global market research and participate in salary surveys to benchmark compensation appropriately across industries and regions.
  • Maintain compliance with international labor laws and regulations relevant to compensation and benefits.
  • Act as subject matter expert offering guidance on international compensation issues to HR partners, managers, and employees.
  • Develop clear policies and guidelines governing international compensation practices.
  • Perform job evaluations and set salary grades based on role content, market data, and internal fairness.
  • Contribute to annual compensation planning, analyzing data to recommend salary adjustments, bonuses, and raises.
  • Create communication materials to educate stakeholders about compensation programs.
  • Analyze compensation data and present reports that identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Working Hours

The working shift is from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST to allow for 2 hours of overlap with Brazil time zones.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of four years of progressive experience specializing in international compensation programs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global compensation components including base pay, bonuses, and benefits across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated skills in international market analysis, job evaluation, and salary structure formulation.
  • Familiarity with international labor laws affecting compensation and benefits.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical reasoning, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills adaptable to multicultural environments.
  • Capacity to work autonomously managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced global context.
  • Cultural awareness and flexibility to adjust to diverse business practices worldwide.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with 7+ years of usage.
