Job description
Position Overview
The F&B Outlet Supervisor role involves ensuring a cohesive team environment where staff collaborate effectively to provide exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include monitoring staff appearance and grooming, handling daily opening and closing tasks such as organizing supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises. The role also entails overseeing storage for cleanliness and organization, following FIFO principles, conducting inventories, and managing stock and requisitions.
Key Duties
- Supervise dining areas to ensure seating availability, guest safety, and quality service.
- Address maintenance issues by submitting work orders.
- Support management in recruitment, staff training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Act as a role model and first contact in upholding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
- Comply with company policies including safety and security, reporting accidents and hazards, and completing required safety certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance standards and confidentiality regarding proprietary information.
- Greet and attend to guests following company protocols, catering to service needs including assistance for those with disabilities.
- Communicate professionally and foster positive workplace relationships, addressing employee concerns constructively.
- Uphold quality standards and proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing or moving for extended periods, handling objects up to 50 pounds, navigating confined spaces and stairs, and using fine motor skills as necessary.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum two years in a related role, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
